Joshua & Olivia's Wedding in Enugu

Enugu, Nigeria  ·  1 April 2027

Title: From a Wrong Number to Forever Wedding Date: 14 February 2026 Country: Nigeria City: Lagos Our Story We never imagined that a simple wrong number would become the beginning of our love story. It all started when I received a message from a number I didn't recognize. The message simply said, “Are you still coming tomorrow?” I replied, “I think you have the wrong person.” Instead of ending the conversation, she apologized and somehow we started talking. At first, our conversations were short and casual. Then they became longer. We talked about our families, our dreams, our careers, our fears, and the kind of future we hoped to build. A few weeks later, we decided to meet in person. I remember seeing her walk into the café for the first time. I was nervous, but the moment she smiled, everything felt strangely familiar. What began as a wrong number became friendship. Friendship became love, and love eventually became a promise to spend the rest of our lives together. Our journey wasn't always perfect. We had misunderstandings, difficult moments, distance, and times when we wondered if we were truly ready for marriage. But every challenge taught us how to communicate, forgive, support each other, and choose our relationship again. Then came the proposal. I wanted it to be a surprise, so I told her we were going out for dinner. Instead, I took her to the place where we had our first real conversation. When she realized what was happening, she started crying. I got down on one knee and asked the question that changed our lives forever. She said yes. On our wedding day, surrounded by our families and closest friends, we looked at each other and remembered how everything had started with one simple mistake. A wrong number. A simple conversation. A first meeting. And eventually, a lifetime together. Looking back now, we believe some of the most beautiful things in life begin when we least expect them. Our advice to other couples is simple: Take your time getting to know each other. Communicate honestly. Be patient with one another. Don't expect a perfect relationship. Instead, build a relationship where both people are willing to grow, forgive, and choose each other every day. Our story began with a wrong number. Our forever began with a choice. And today, we are grateful that one little mistake brought us to each other.
