Delete your Jodate African Dating & Wedding Vendor Platform account
You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time.
📱 In the app
Profile → Help, legal & settings → Delete account. Enter your password to confirm.
💻 On the website
Sign in, open Edit profile, scroll to "Delete account" and confirm with your password.
✉️ Without signing in
Enter the email address of your account. We will email you a confirmation link — only the owner of that email can confirm the deletion.
🗂️ What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: your profile, photos, video intro, interests, matches, favourites, messages, privacy settings and sign-in sessions. Your profile disappears from the site and apps immediately.
- Kept for a limited time where the law requires it: payment and transaction records (up to 6 years for tax and accounting), and reports about safety or abuse (to protect other members and assist authorities).
- Wedding businesses: your listings are removed together with the account.
